Sybron is a fast-growing business, which places a high importance on our growth strategy. Sustainable growth, in line with our other key values, remains the main focus as we strive to continuously improve our offering. To achieve sustainable growth, essential reinvestment is required alongside initiatives to gain more control of our supply chain. We have five key areas our strategy focuses on:
Warehousing
- Moved to a dedicated 35,000 sq ft warehouse and distribution facility.
- Launched a fully automated warehouse barcoding system.
- Purchased two additional warehouses to support our growth and import strategy, giving us another 8,000 sq ft.
Distribution
- Now operate 18 vehicles, with a mix of vans and lorries.
- Moved our entire fleet to contract hire, enabling us to have flexibility with new vehicles.
- Added two 18-tonne lorries to support our national growth.
Systems
- Introduced Instream, an automated ordering system enabling our team to spend more time supporting our partners.
- Launched AccessDelta, provding a fully automated warehouse barcoding system to improve operational efficiencies.
- Soon to launch SugarCRM, enhancing our customer relationship management.
Purchasing Power
- Started directly importing several key categories, adding control to our supply chain.
- Increased stock holding to maintain a strong percentage of orders delivered in time in full.
- Creating better synergies with manufacturers delivering our new own-label products.
