The Socius network was formed in 2008, with the purpose of bringing together a number of independent distributors to increase buying and selling potential throughout the UK.

Prospective members to the network were either recommended or approached; to qualify for membership they had to meet a set of strict guidelines to ensure they fulfilled the exacting high standards required.

The network consists of 18 strategically placed established distributors within the UK, providing a localised delivery service to national accounts at very competitive prices.

Sybron were approached following recommendations from a number of our suppliers at the end of 2009, this was a testament of our success and reputation that has been built within the industry within a relatively small amount of time.

After a successful assessment we officially became a member in January 2010. Since then we have reaped the benefits of new supplier partnerships that otherwise we may not have had the opportunity to work with.

The collective resource of the Socius network currently gives us buying power in excess of £55m, making us a key player within the catering industry.

The partnerships formed with suppliers includes, Duni, Huhtamaki, Steelite International, Arc, Linpac, Colpac, SCA and many more.
